Praktikum Münster | "Gemeinsam 1000 Stunden für Münster"

Die Stiftung Bürger für Münster ist eine gemeinnützige Stiftung zur Förderung des Bürger­engagements. Sie fördert und vernetzt beispielhafte ehrenamtliche Projekte. Ziel ist, zum Engagement bereite Bürger zu motivieren und auf passende Projekte aufmerksam machen.  Die Bürgerstiftung organisiert auch selbst Projekte wie Mentoren für Schüler, Lesepaten, Betriebsrallye oder das „Fliegende Seniorenheim“.

CEM Henkel-Workshop: Creativity, Innovation and Sustainability

25 students from Free University of Berlin, University of Cologne and University of Muenster participated in this year’s Circle of Excellence in Marketing (CEM) Henkel-Workshop, which took place on July 5 at the Henkel headquarters in Dusseldorf. The day started with a welcome note by Jana Mueller, Employer Branding Manager at Henkel. She introduced students to the history, the values and the career opportunities at Henkel.

Sonja Gensler zur außerplanmäßigen Professorin ernannt

Seit 2016 ist Dr. Sonja Gensler Akademische Oberrätin am IWM. Schon 2012 war sie von der Rijksuniversiteit Groningen an das MCM gewechselt, wo sie zunächst als Akademische Rätin aktiv war. Während dieser Zeit konnte sich Sonja Gensler durch hervorragende Leistungen in Forschung und Lehre auszeichnen. So erhielt sie im März 2018 gemeinsam mit ihren Ko-Autoren Professor Scott Neslin (Dartmouth) und Professor Peter Verhoef (Groningen) für ihren Artikel „The Showrooming Phenomenon: It’s More than Just About Price“ den Best Paper Award der Zeitschrift Journal of Interactive Marketing.

CEM Arvato-Workshop: Digital Transformation of Customer Service

From July 3 to 4, 22 members of the Circle of Excellence in Marketing (CEM) from Berlin, Cologne and Muenster attended a workshop at Arvato Bertelsmann at its headquarters in Guetersloh. The workshop on digital transformation of customer service was hosted and organized by Jiaqing Zhong and Karsten Kraume from the Arvato CRM Solutions division.

Raoul Kübler joins MCM team of marketing scholars!

The MCM is proud to announce that Raoul Kübler has accepted the offer from the University of Münster to serve as a new Junior Professor of Marketing at the Marketing Center.

His professorship is a tenure-track model which allows the conversion into a Associate/Full Professor position in the next years. Raoul Kübler comes to Münster from Istanbul, where he has been an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Özyeğin University.

MCM mit stärkster Präsenz auf der BI-JAMS Thought Leaders‘ Conference

Anfang Juni hat die BI Norwegian Business School in Kooperation mit dem Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science die BI-JAMS Thought Leaders‘ Conference on Generalizations in Marketing in Oslo veranstaltet. Hierbei war das MCM das am stärksten vertretene Department unter den Teilnehmern. Durch Ann-Kristin Kupfer (LMM), Sonja Gensler (IWM) sowie Manfred Krafft und Jonas Schmidt (IfM) waren alle am Stadtgraben ansässigen Institute des MCM vertreten.
