The University of Münster is once again honored by the Sales Education Foundation (SEF) in its 2020 ANNUAL magazine as one of the "Top Universities for Professional Sales Education". SEF recognizes the University of Münster for preparing students for successful careers in professional selling. The latest edition (14th) of the SEF ANNUAL magazine is available on SEF’s website.

Circle of Excellence in Marketing | Jetzt bewerben bis zum 26.04.2020

Am 26. April 2020 endet die aktuelle Bewerbungsrunde für das Studentenförderprogramm "Circle of Excellence in Marketing". Der CEM ist ein 1-jähriges Talent-Programm für herausragende Marketingstudierende der Universität Münster, der Universität zu Köln und der FU Berlin. Es ist gezielt darauf ausgerichtet, die Studierenden auf interessante Managementaufgaben in international agierenden Unternehmen vorzubereiten.

CEM Workshop with Porsche

Over 20 members of the Circle of Excellence in Marketing (CEM) took part in the annual CEM Workshop at the headquarter of Porsche in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. The two-day workshop, from the January 16 to 17, 2020, was designed to give CEM members a first look behind the scenes of the Porsche AG. The workshop further enabled an exchange of academic and practical insights between marketing students from Berlin, Cologne and Muenster and the Marketing team of Porsche.

WiWi-Talents Award

They are not only good at what they do - they are actually extraordinary good. Once again, marketing students from Münster were accepted into the WiWi-Talents program due to their excellent performances during their studies. The two master students Malte Stegemann and Nils Bahr were nominated by Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft, Director of the Chair of Marketing Management. The two are now part of a group of highly talented students of economics selected in this year’s program.

Master Thesis Award

As in previous years, a student of the Marketing Center Münster was awarded for an outstanding master thesis. Under the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft and supervised by Jonas Schmidt, Vera Zanger dealt with the measurement of customers’ willingness to pay (WTP) in the context of innovations. Due to a solid theoretical basis, a thorough empirical analysis and the high practical relevance, the Professional Association of German Market and Social Researchers (BVM) assessed the study as the best master thesis in 2019.
