Für die Master-Vorlesung „Innovation Management“ begrüßte das IWM den CEO der LV digital GmbH Dr. Matthias Weddeling und den Leiter des Business Development Michael Romer. Die LV digital GmbH ist ein Tochterunternehmen des Landwirtschaftsverlages und vereint innovative digitale Lösungskonzepte mit der Leidenschaft zur Landwirtschaft. Ihr Ziel sind nicht nur die Bereitstellung von Plattformen, Softwares und Tools für Landwirte, welche Prozesse verbessern und effizienter gestalten, sondern auch das Landgefühl zugänglich für jedermann zu machen.

Circle of Excellence in Marketing Supports Start-up Company “Lytt” in their Social Media Strategy

On December 12, 2018, members of the Circle of Excellence in Marketing (CEM) visited the newly founded start-up Lytt in Muenster. Two former students of the University of Muenster brought their idea of a digital person of trust for employees into life and have recently been awarded the founders scholarship EXIST. They are creating a software, which enables employees to contact third party mediators anonymously in case of discrimination, harassment, or other negative experiences at work they need help with.

MCM students acquire Artificial Intelligence - First Big Data Seminar concludes with important insights for MCM Master Students

Recent years saw a remarkable increase of interest in the exploitation of large datasets in order to enhance consumer insights. Famous use cases such as Target’s ability to identify pregnant shoppers by changes in consumption behavior or micro targeting of voters with the help of user generated content have made the algorithmic evaluation of consumer behavior a state-of-the-art procedure to guide and support purchasing decisions, to select and present relevant content on online platforms, or to develop bespoke advertising campaigns.
