In the evening broadcast on October 5, WDR Lokalzeit covered the record numbers of first year students at the University of Münster. In addition to law and sociology, amongst others, the bachelor's degree in business administration is particularly affected by this.
Continuation of a Long Standing Tradition - Doctoral Seminar of the IfM Takes Place at the Landhaus Rothenberge

From July 26 to July 28, the team of the Chair of Marketing Management (IfM) spent its annual research retreat at Landhaus Rothenberge to discuss current research projects. This year, a special guest, Professor Leo Paas from the University of Auckland, also participated in the doctoral seminar and made an excellent contribution to the team, both professionally and personally.
Successful IfM Project Seminar in Cooperation with DEICHMANN SE
As every summer semester, the Chair of Marketing Management (IfM) offered a project seminar in cooperation with a well-known company also in 2023. Together with this year´s partner, DEICHMANN SE, 24 Major Marketing students had the opportunity to participate. Five current and relevant topics around “The Future of Retailing @ Deichmann” invited the students to connect scientific methodologies and marketing-related practical skills in a practice-oriented project.

Several MCM members participated in premiere global doctoral consortium by the American Marketing Association

The AMA-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium brings together doctoral students from leading business schools around the globe to facilitate learning and networking among doctoral students and faculty members. Faculty members are invited by the organizers to participate and the business schools can send one doctoral student to the Consortium. Thus, being part of the Consortium is a great honor for all participants.
