Research Visit from Anna Salonen (University of Jyväskylä) at the Marketing Center Münster
From May 19–23, 2025, Associate Professor Anna Salonen from the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) visited the Marketing Center Münster to collaborate with Dr. Victoria Kramer and Prof. Manfred Krafft from the Chair of Marketing Management.
During her stay, Anna Salonen contributed to the academic exchange at MCM by giving a Brown Bag Seminar on the changing role of Marketing in B2B firms and leading a hands-on workshop on “Using qualitative insights to drive relevant knowledge generation.” Both formats fostered a productive dialogue with faculty members and doctoral students alike.
In addition to the academic program, Anna Salonen and Victoria Kramer explored research ideas at the intersection of sustainability and value creation in B2B markets, paving the way for future collaboration.
Beyond the scholarly exchange, Anna Salonen gained insights into the PhD defense procedures and celebratory traditions at the University of Münster. A joint visit to the North Rhine-Westphalian State Stud in Warendorf and several dinners with colleagues completed a memorable and enriching visit.
