Die Vorlesung „Customer Management” war bislang Teil der „Vertiefung Marketing” im Bachelorstudiengang Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Sie wurde zuletzt im Sommersemester 2018 gehalten und wird zukünftig nicht mehr Bestandteil des Modulhandbuchs sein.

Therefore, “Retailing Beyond”, the 11th edition of the yearly congress of the Rabobank Anton Dreesmann foundation, focused on how to meet and strategically anticipate changes in the turbulent environment of local and global retailers in the Netherlands.
Guest Lecture by Dow Chemical in Sales Management

For the second guest lecture in the master course Sales Management, Manfred Krafft welcomed three representatives from The Dow Chemical Company: Klaus Rudert, Global Customer Executive and Managing Director Dow Germany, Benedikt Rammrath, Senior European Account Manager and Elena Czerny, Technical Sales Representative. They acquainted the students with sales force management, the role of customer relationship management, organizational design and current challenges in a global B2B company.

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft, the Chair of Marketing Management once again offered the master course Consumer Behavior. The lecture is characterized by the participation of well-known guest speakers as Dr. Pia Furchheim (ZHAW School of Management and Law), Prof. Dr. Karen Gedenk (University of Hamburg) and Prof. Dr. Wayne D. Hoyer (University of Texas at Austin).

On December 6, 2019, the IfM welcomed Frank Hanisch, Customer Business Director Mars Petcare and Nexan Chopra, EU Customer Business Director, from Mars. They were invited to give a guest lecture in the Master course Sales Management.
Professor Anne T. Coughlan officially honored as "Visiting International Professor" (VIP)

Prof. Anne T. Coughlan holds the Polk Brothers Chair in Retailing and has been Professor of Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston (USA) since 1985. Her research focuses on sales channels, sales management, compensation and pricing. She currently conducts research on topics such as multichannel management or measuring the compliance, monitoring and enforcement of MAP policies. From October 29 to November 6, Prof. Anne T. Coughlan was once again a guest at the Marketing Center Münster to work with Prof.
Shopper Meets Consumer – Henkel’s Way Into an Insight Driven Culture

Yet again, Henkel visited the lecture “Consumer Behavior” and demonstrated how the theoretical fundamentals taught in the lecture are applied in practice. Laura Lorch and Peter Reichmann (Category Insight Management at Henkel Beauty Care) offered fascinating insights in their talk entitled “Shopper Meets Consumer – Henkel’s Way Into an Insight Driven Culture”.
