On Friday, 15 October 2021, we were once again pleased to welcome representatives from the Mars company to the Master's course "Sales Management". The guest lecture by Mars is a repeat of a long-standing and good tradition to give students valuable insights from corporate practice.
On August 20th, 2021, the participants of MCM’s Data Science class taught by Prof. Dr. Raoul Kübler were invited to spend a day at the Dr. Wolff Group Headquarter in Bielefeld. Here, the groups presented their analyses and solutions, which they came up with during their Data Science course, to the staff of Dr. Wolff.
The class has been conducted in close cooperation with the company and 17 students were invited to present their ideas and managerial implications to leading employees at Dr. Wolff.
On July 12, 2021, Grabarz & Partner, represented by Bastian Goldschmidt (Head of Strategy) and Dennis Ullner (Senior Strategist), visited the lecture "Integrated Marketing Communications" for the third year in a row. Following the invitation of Prof. Dr. Raoul Kübler, the advertising experts once again presented the trend topics of the current year to the marketing students from Münster.
On June 29, the Chair of Marketing Management had the pleasure to welcome Interbrand as a guest in the course Marketing Operations. With more than 45 years of expertise in brand management and offices in 14 cities, Interbrand is a global and leading brand consultancy. During the 90-minutes guest lecture, Fabienne Duschak (Consultant Brand Strategy) and Hiroyuki Suzuki (Senior Creative) offered various insights into their career paths and daily work.
Also, this year we welcomed WWU alumnus David Middelbeck, co-founder & managing director of edyoucated, for a virtual guest lecture in the Bachelor course Marketing Operations taught by Professor Krafft.
Unter dem Format „Better Together“ durfte das Marketing Center am 8. Juni mehr als 40 Studierende und die Vertreter:innen der teilnehmenden Unternehmen digital begrüßen. Mit Dr. Oetker, LVMH, Porsche und VIVALDI konnten Unternehmen verschiedener Branchen für die Veranstaltung gewonnen werden, sodass den Studierenden die Möglichkeit geboten war, spannende und facettenreiche Einblicke in die Marketingpraxis zu erhalten.
Das Marketing Center Münster hat innerhalb der universitätsweiten Initiative „Zusammen ist man weniger allein“ ein Format kreiert, das den Studierenden dabei helfen soll, die erste Hürde der Kontaktaufnahme zu meistern und in einen Dialog mit namhaften Unternehmen zu treten. Mit dem Format „Better Together“ bieten wir Studierenden die Möglichkeit, sich direkt mit Unternehmen via Zoom auszutauschen und diesen die Fragen zu stellen, die sie momentan wirklich beschäftigen.
Der zweite Remote-Workshop mit Björn Ognibeni beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema: Wie funktionieren Internet & E-Commerce in China?
