Despite this challenging digital Summer semester, the Chair of Marketing Management (IfM) and Henkel AG & Co. KGaA agreed to stick to their plan to provide 30 Marketing major students the opportunity to participate in a project seminar. Five current and relevant topics around “Brand Management at Henkel Beauty Care: How to Transform Strategy into Growth” required the students to connect both, scientific methodologies and marketing-related practical skills.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020 Dr. Vanessa Junc (Senior CRM Analyst) and Christian Koldehoff (Team Lead Global CRM Analytics) held a virtual guest talk in Market Research providing additional practical insights for students during this summer semester. During the presentation, the two representatives of Europe’s No.1 beauty destination introduced their loyalty card program and elaborated on the benefits of CRM data analytics.

On Thursday, April 30, Dr. Lisette Kruizinga – de Vries (Senior Methodologist at DVJ Insights) held a virtual guest lecture in Market Research (Bachelor course taught by Prof. Dr. Lara Lobschat) on “How we conduct Market Research at DVJ Insights”. During her presentation, Dr. Kruizinga – de Vries comprehensively outlined market research techniques applied at DVJ Insights and their impact in the real business world.
