Joint Doctoral Seminar of the Chair of Marketing Management at BI Norwegian Business School
Recently, Prof. Manfred Krafft and his team from the Chair of Marketing Management at the University of Münster traveled to Oslo for the second edition of a joint Ph.D. seminar with the Department of Marketing at BI Norwegian Business School. The seminar provided PhD students and junior faculty from Münster with an opportunity to present and discuss their current research with colleagues from BI, further deepening the collaboration between the two institutions.
Participants presented and discussed ongoing projects on a variety of topics, such as service digitalization, moderation analysis, publication strategy, brand rivalry, consumer status, sales strategy, and B2B contracting. The sessions reflected the breadth of research pursued by the next generation of marketing scholars and its relevance to academic and managerial audiences.
Beyond the academic program, the Münster team began the week with a scavenger hunt through Oslo's city center to promote teamwork. Then, together with their hosts, participants tried their hand at orienteering under the guidance of BI's Jon Bingen Sande. The program also included a day of island hopping and team-building activities in the Oslofjord.
The Münster team would like to thank their colleagues at BI Norwegian Business School for their warm hospitality and an engaging week of academic exchanges and shared experiences. This week marked a successful continuation of the partnership between the two institutions.
