Research Visit from Leo Paas (University of Auckland) at the Marketing Center Münster
From June 23–25, 2025, Professor Leo Paas from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) visited the Marketing Center Münster to collaborate with members of the Chair of Marketing Management.
During his stay, Leo Paas contributed to the academic exchange at MCM by giving a guest lecture on his research within the "Introduction to Machine Learning" course. He also presented his latest work in a research seminar titled, "The Impact of Emotional Engagement on Podcast Reviews: An Analysis of Listener Responses Across Utilitarian and Hedonic Motives." Both events sparked engaging discussions with faculty members and doctoral students alike.
In addition to these formal presentations, the visit provided numerous opportunities for one-on-one discussions, including a dedicated meeting with Frederik Ferié. These interactions laid the groundwork for potential future research collaborations.
Beyond the scholarly exchange, Leo Paas had the chance to connect with the team in a more informal setting during a barbecue with all members of the Marketing Center Münster and several team lunches. He also had time to explore the historic city center of Münster, completing a memorable and enriching visit.
