This course will take place in the first and second term of the winter semester. 

The course "Angewandte empirische Forschung" is part of the module "Willkommen zur Betriebswirtschaftslehre! Grundlegende Theorien & ihre praktische Anwendung", which also includes the lectures "Grundlegende Theorien der Betriebswirtschaftslehre", "Betriebswirtschaftslehre in der Praxis: Von Führungskräften lernen" and the exercise "You're the CEO NOW: Zum ersten Mal ein Unternehmen führen". The following examination credits and credit points apply to the module as a whole and are not individual credits for a single course.

Module Examination Credits: Written exam (75%) + written paper (25%)

Description

In the course "Angewandte empirische Forschung" the participating students gain first experience in dealing with empirical research. The active participation in real research projects gives the students a transparent insight into the knowledge generation of business administration as a scientific discipline.

The lecture "Willkommen zur Betriebswirtschaftslehre! Grundlegende Theorien & ihre praktische Anwendung" serves as a content-related as well as organizational bracket for the various lectures and exercises of the module. In this context all dates and further organisational issues of the module are presented, including the course "Angewandte empirische Forschung".
