MCM celebrates Varadarajan Award for Professor Sebastian Hohenberg
The Marketing Center Münster is proud to announce that Professor Sebastian Hohenberg has been named co-recipient of the 2025 Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research, awarded by the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) Marketing Strategy Special Interest Group. The Varadarajan Award is one of the field’s most prestigious recognitions and honors scholars whose work has made an exceptional contribution to marketing strategy research and practice. The selection committee evaluates recipients’ overall influence, research quality and quantity, and research leadership.
At Münster, Professor Hohenberg’s research addresses critical challenges of organic growth, spanning marketing strategy, sales steering, and spatial business research, often in close collaboration with industry partners. Reflecting MCM’s commitment to rigorous, practice-relevant marketing strategy research, we congratulate Professor Hohenberg on this outstanding achievement. Notably, he is only the second professor based at a German university to receive this honor.
