Digital CRM and Sales System | CLAAS KGaA mbH

On January 27, 2017 Jan Nachtwey and Robert von Keudell from the company CLAAS held a guest lecture in the course “Sales Management” of the Institute for Marketing. Afterwards, they invited the students for a “Meet & Greet” at the Marketing Center Münster.
CLAAS is a family business founded in 1913 and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural engineering equipment. The company, with corporate headquarters in Harsewinkel, Westphalia, is the European market leader in combine harvesters. CLAAS is the world leader in another large product group, self-propelled forage harvesters. CLAAS is also a top performer in world-wide agricultural engineering with tractors, agricultural balers and green harvesting machinery. The CLAAS product portfolio also includes state-of-the-art farming information technology. CLAAS employs 11,500 workers worldwide and reported a turnover of 3.8 billion euros in the financial year of 2015.


Jan Nachtwey is Chief Financial Officer of CLAAS Vertriebsgesellschaft. Nachtwey has worked at CLAAS for more than 15 years and gained experience in controlling and sales in different positions.


Robert von Keudell is leading the dealer network development in Germany. He has worked at CLAAS for more than 10 years and has extensive experience in sales management.

During their guest lecture, the experts presented the digital CRM and sales system of CLAAS and provided insights into evaluation and controlling of sales force performance at CLAAS.
