Evaluation of Structural Models using the Partial Least Squares (PLS-)Approach
Abstract
This article gives a basic comprehension of the partial least squares(PLS)-approach. This constitutes an alternative to the so far prevalent covariance-based approaches, whose restrictive underlying assumptions only allow a limited analysis of structural equation models, though. To overcome those problems a broad guideline for the specification and evaluation of PLS-models has been developed.
