Two Honors for the Marketing Center Münster
The Marketing Center Münster has reason to celebrate: two researchers from the Chair of Marketing Management have recently been recognized for their outstanding doctoral work.
Dr. Christina Okoutsidou has been awarded the "Preis der Deutschen Marktforschung 2026" in the dissertation category. Her doctoral thesis "Decoding AI Influencers' Effectiveness: Multimodal Insights for Social Media Marketing", supervised by Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft, was selected from this year's shortlist of the Young Talent Award – BVM/VMÖ/SWISS INSIGHTS, which honors outstanding research in the field of market, media, opinion, and social research. The award will be presented at the Congress of German Market Research on May 20, 2026, in Berlin.
Dr. Janina Wiebringhaus has been awarded the Dr. Andreas Dombret-Promotionspreis for her dissertation "Essays on Transformative Value Creation in Mental Healthcare Services", likewise supervised by Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft. The prize is awarded by the School of Business and Economics at the University of Münster for dissertations that perfectly connect theoretical knowledge and practical application. The award will be presented to Dr. Wiebringhaus at the doctoral graduation ceremony on May 13, 2026.
