Born in Aachen in 1982, Jonas vor dem Esche studied business administration at the University of Münster, at the Northwestern University Evanston/Chicago, at the San Diego State University and at the Universitas Udayana in Indonesia. In 2008, he graduated with a diploma thesis that analyzed the predictive quality of different regression techniques for the customer’s share of wallet.
From 2009 to 2011, Jonas vor dem Esche worked as product manager for L’Oréal Paris after having passed a five month sales force traineeship. As part of the mass market division, he gathered work experience on brand management, media marketing and POS marketing. During his studies, Jonas vor dem Esche passed internships with Unilever, Bristol-Myers Squibb and the pharmaceuticals marketing agency Codiplan. Since February 2011, he is employed as research/teaching assistant at the University of Münster. His research focus is Social Media.
